Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park through Ziwa rhino sanctuary
Your guide will pick you up early in the morning. He will also provide briefing on
your upcoming safari and afterwards, we make our way to Murchison Falls National Park
passing through the famous Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a private, non-profit, animal sanctuary in Uganda.
The sanctuary also offers interesting activities including rhino trekking, bird watching, nature
walks and relaxation. Late in the after- noon, we will have your first taste of game viewing at Murchison.
This park boasts of the famous Murchison Falls, where the waters of the Nile River squeeze through a narrow gorge.
This is also home to a number of mammals and has Uganda’s largest population of Nile crocodiles.
Boat cruise on the Nile and Game Drive
This day, we set out for an early morning game drive to
find elusive predators such as Lions, Hyenas, Leopard, and Jackal among several others;
all the while enjoying the beautiful savannah landscape.
In the afternoon, we set out for a
boat safari along the world-famous River Nile, which sets off at Parra, going upstream to the base of the Murchison Falls.
While on cruise, you will see Crocodiles, Hippos, and lizards. You will also chance upon Buffaloes,
Elephants and Antelopes quenching their thirst and cooling off the heat by the river banks.
Transfer to Kibale National Park & Bigodi wetland walk
After a hearty breakfast, we begin a long journey to a rich tropical forest in Uganda,
Kibale National Park.
There will be no activity today as the travel will take the whole day.
You will arrive in the lodge in the evening where you can relax and take dinner overnight.
Chimpanzee tracking/habituation experience
Tracking chimpanzees is a unique experience that makes Safari in Uganda at par with its neighboring
East African countries. There is nothing more exotic than starring in a real African jungle adventure.
You get the real Ugandan atmosphere as you move through the bushes and watch the Chimps swing through the steady branches.
If you can’t get enough, you may opt to do the habituation experience, which means you can spend the whole day with these amazing creatures.
In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to her majesty, Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Queen Elizabeth National Park & game drive before check in
On this day, you will get to see tree-climbing lions found in the southern area of the Queen
Elizabeth National Park lazily lying up on the branches of the huge fig trees.
Indulge at the sight of Uganda Kob as well as other wildlife including elephants.
Game Drive & afternoon Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
There will be another game in the morning where you can see breathtaking landscapes
and abundant wildlife from primates to wild animals, and birds. After lunch, we proceed to Mweya peninsula
for a boat trip through the Kazinga Channel. Here you will see wildlife along the banks of the channel
including buffalo, elephants, birds, and hippos.
Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park & Kabale Market shopping experience
We will set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park passing through Bushenyi Kitagata road.
This is home to the mythical Kitagata hot spring.
According to the locals, one of the springs was
used by the former Omugabe (King of Ankole) and is known as Ekyomugabe. The other spring is believed to have
healing powers and is known as Mulago, after Uganda’s largest National Referral Hospital.
We will also have a stop- over to visit some museums in Kabale town.
We then continue to pass through U
gandan soil along Kagamba and Ntungamo, which is heralded as the Switzerland part of Africa with its
hilly nature and breeze. As you may know European and American markets are different from African Markets,
You will have a chance to visit Kabale central market on your way to Bwindi impenetrable and buy bananas or
Apples or any other fruits you have not seen in your country and test the delicious of it.
Gorilla Tracking Experience
Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the highlight of today’s activities.
We begin with an informative orientation from the briefing center.
The rangers will conduct the
briefing then lead you to the forest for a walk in search of Gorillas. The park is home to colobus monkeys,
chimpanzees, and birds such as horn- bills and turacos.
Most notably, half of the world’s population of the
critically endangered mountain gorillas is found here as well. An up close encounter with the Mountain
gorillas is a once in a life time experience- a memory that Uganda will leave with you to cherish.
In the afternoon, we head out to Lake Bunyonyi, a place known for its birds. Here, you will have the chance to see
wide range of these beautiful creatures amidst breathtaking views and landscape
Transfer to Kampala or Kigali in Rwanda
After breakfast, we head back to Kampala or Kigali depending on your next destination.
Along the way, there will be a stopover at the equator in Masaka for lunch on your own or travel
via Katuna boarder for your next destination.
